Citation Policy
Sources, evidence, and attribution standards
SYNTA cites sources where attribution materially strengthens clarity, traceability, or accountability. Citation is a tool for precision, not volume.
Primary sources, historical records, and original documents are preferred over secondary commentary. When interpretation is used, it is clearly distinguished from fact.
Absence of citation does not imply absence of grounding. Some analysis relies on structural reasoning, synthesis, or long-observed systems rather than discrete sources.
Sources are never used to outsource responsibility for conclusions. Accountability for interpretation remains with the author.
